I Used To Be CORGI Registered

If you used to be CORGI registered, have previous gas work experience but never held any gas qualifications then you will need to undertake either:

  • A City & Guilds Space Heater Pathway Route National/ Scottish Vocational Qualification (N/SVQ) 6012 – this can be achieved within 20 weeks. For further details on pathway route N/SVQ’s contact your local college, City & Guilds or Energy & Utility Skills.
  • A Managed Learning Program which will provide an auditable extended period of gas training programme together with the necessary organisational support. Once a portfolio of this training has been completed and verified by an approved assessment centre you will be able to undertake ACS assessment. For details on Managed Learning Programs contact an accredited ACS Certification Body.

In either case you will need to be employed by, or be placed with a CORGI registered business to enable you to gain sufficient and appropriate on site’ work experience that you will need to complete the award and be eligible for CORGI membership.
