Technical Certificates form part of a full National/Scottish Vocational Qualification (N/SVQ) award and are designed to assess candidates underpinning knowledge.
They do not include any requirement for ‘on site’ experience are therefore not recognised by CORGI for membership purposes or considered acceptable for ACS assessment. If you hold one of the following City & Guilds Technical Certificates you should contact your local college and complete the award in full:
- Plumbing – Basic Plumbing Technical Certificate 6129-22 (level 2) and 6129-33 (level 3)
- Heating and Ventilation – Technical Certificate 6128 (level 2 or 3)
- Refrigeration and Air Conditioning – Technical Certificate 6127 (level 2 or 3)
- Gas Installation and Maintenance – Technical Certificate 6132 (level 2 or 3)
On completion of the full N/SVQ (providing the appropriate gas option has been completed) you should be able to register with CORGI.
