As a qualified plumber you should possess a number of transferable skills and experience needed to help carry out safe gas installation work.
You will need to undertake ACS assessments in the areas of gas work you intend to carry out at an accredited ACS assessment centre - there are currently 230 centres around the UK capable of delivering ACS assessments.
Prior to taking your assessments and registering with CORGI you will need to be employed by, or be placed with a CORGI registered business to enable you to gain the necessary ‘on site’ work experience that you will need.
Once you have sufficient work experience and hold appropriate ACS qualifications you can apply for CORGI membership.
