Do you have a formal procedure for the appointing of gas contractors that uses gas safety as the main driver in the selection process?

Does the individual responsible for updating your specification and tender documents have the appropriate technical gas knowledge?

Has documentation received from contractors for all gas work undertaken been checked to ensure it meets your legal requirements under the Gas Safety Regulations?

Do you provide (or display) the current Landlord Gas Safety Record for the property for incoming tenants? Does this include all mutual exchanges, HMO, temporary accommodation, sheltered housing etc?

Do you have a written process for contractors to follow during mutual exchanges regarding gas checks and tests?

Are all steps in your access procedure time specific and in line with industry best practice?

Does a suitably trained staff member quality check gas work records on receipt?
