It’s easy, there are some simple steps to staying safe:
Only use a CORGI Registered Installer. There are approximately 55,000 installing businesses registered with CORGI who work all over the UK. This means that it should be easy to find an installer near you.
Ask to see their CORGI ID Card. If you are having gas work done in your home ask to see their CORGI ID card. All CORGI registered installers must carry an ID card and have it available to show to you when they are working in your home.
Check they are registered. Use our check an installer service to confirm the validity of your installer and their ID card.
Report illegal gas work to CORGI. If you suspect that you have had gas work undertaken by a non registered person then let us know by calling our freephone number
