We Achieved MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) Accreditation

CORGI achieved Microgeneration (MCS) Accreditation

In December 2009 CORGI became accredited to Certificate Installers under the MCS scheme for Solar Photovoltaic, Solar Thermal and Heat Pumps (Air and Ground Source).

MSC has been developed to support the emergence of environmental technologies, by Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) in line with criteria for the design, installation, inspection of Environmental Technologies.

MCS gives recognition of good quality microgeneration products and services in the marketplace, and provides consumers with confidence and assurance when purchasing and installing these technologies.

Moving forward, grant funding and feed in tariffs will only be available to those customers who utilise an MCS Certificated Installer and can supply an MCS Certificate.

CORGI will promote its MCS installers to consumers through the web using the find an installer function where consumers can locate MCS installers in their area and request work directly.

With the MCS brand developed as the quality mark for renewables installers and CORGI “the name your customers trust” they are receiving a lot of interest from consumers and installers alike.
